Condition guide
Every piece we sell is preloved: it has had at least one owner. Each one gets one of four grades. The grade is a summary. The listing also names every flaw and shows a photo of each one.
The four grades
- Like New. Barely worn. No visible signs of use; as close to new as preloved gets. A piece with any flaw cannot be Like New.
- Excellent. Gently used, with only the faintest signs of wear. No holes, stains, pilling or repairs.
- Very Good. Worn but well cared for. Minor visible wear, such as light pilling, a faint mark or slight fading. Each flaw is described and photographed.
- Good. Plenty of life left, with clear signs of wear, such as visible fading, pilling or a small repaired area. Still fully wearable. Each flaw is described and photographed.
What we check
Before a piece is graded, we check the front, the back and the inside, the closures and seams, and the underarms, cuffs and hems. On shoes we also check the soles.
Between two grades
If a piece sits between two grades, it gets the lower one.

If it is not as described
If your piece arrives with a flaw the listing did not show, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and send photos. Once the case is approved, H&S pays the return delivery and you receive a refund or an exchange. On orders outside Karachi, the PKR 500 advance is refunded in full.
